What is Personal Data?
Personal data may contain information that is known as ‘Sensitive’ data. At Reiki with Mairead Hickey.
What information is stored on you?
- Client Agreement Form, this is completed upon your first treatment with me, here I will ask you to date and sign it, to show your awareness of this policy.
- Name, Address, Contact Number and Email Address.
- Next of Kin details, in case of an emergency.
- Where necessary, information related to your health. NB it is not compulsory that you disclose this.
What is your information stored on?

How do I store your information?
Information is stored within a GDPR - compliant locked filing cabinet, where only I have access to your information.
How long will I keep your information?
Information is kept as long as I am providing Reiki treatments to you.
Following the end of your treatments, I will retain your information for four years.

The right to access: To see my records of your personal information, so you know what is held about you and you can agree to it, by way of signing the form.
The right to correct: In the event that you disagree with something that has been documented about you, you can request that the information is changed.
The right to delete: To request to erase any information held about you.
