A Distant Reiki Treatment, differs from that of an 'In Person Reiki Treatment', in that it is sent from a distance and can be sent to anyone, anywhere in the world, further drawing on the understanding of 'Universal Energy'.
What I do…
Prior to a Distant Reiki Treatment, the time and day will have been arranged in advance of the treatment. I connect to Reiki and set the intention to send a Distant Reiki Treatment to my client. (In advance of the treatment I will have asked emailed and requested, that you sign a Client Agreement Form). Following this, I will start sending the Distant Reiki Treatment. Remember, a Distant Reiki Treatment is all about channeling Universal Energy, so don’t expect to receive your treatment in the post, or via an email.
What You Do…
During a Distant Reiki Treatment, I would suggest either lying or sitting down. Even though a Distant Reiki Treatment is sent from a distance, it is possible to feel a visceral effect in your body, in the forms of wave-like energy, seeing colours, to name but a few, this is perfectly normal. It is because of this effect, that I suggest having the treatment when you are not driving, or doing manual handling. To gain the most out of a treatment, I suggest either sitting or lying down and taking the opportunity to have a bit of Peace! It is nice to listen to calming music, and have a blanket just in case you get chilly. Then all you need to do is receive.
After a Distant Reiki Treatment…
Following a Distant Reiki Treatment, where appropriate I offer feedback on the treatment. It is possible that I intuitively pick up on different aspects of the client during a treatment, an example of this is identifying a build up of energy in particular parts of the body. This information is relayed to the client, via a voice note, or text message following the treatment.
Reiki in itself is an abstract idea, which can be difficult to understand or grasp, let alone a Distant Reiki Treatment, all I ask is that you keep an open mind.
Following a Distant Reiki Treatment, I would suggest that clients drink plenty of water, this will support the bodies detox, small sips often. As well as this, walking in nature enables clients to ground themselves.
